Girls Football Academy

Our Oadby Town FC Girls' Football Academy, is inspired by the remarkable triumphs of the England Lionesses on the international football stage. Our academy is committed to nurturing the upcoming generation of female football stars. Under the expert guidance of Coach Mike Wilce, a certified UEFA B coach and the current coach of LCFC Women's Youth Team, we empower young girls to strive for excellence in the sport.

We take immense pride in the quality of coaching we offer and the fact that we are not solely reliant on volunteers, we are not the cheapest out there but we pride ourselves in being able to have some of the best grassroots pro coaches available in the UK. With Coach Mike Wilce at the helm, we ensure that every training session is guided by a professional with an in-depth understanding of the game and a passion for developing young talents.

To provide the best learning environment, we keep our group sizes small, allowing personalized attention and comprehensive guidance. With around 20 girls per session, Coach Mike can focus on each player's growth, explaining drills thoroughly and steering them toward improvement.

Recognizing the diverse skill levels of our players, we've structured our groups into three levels: beginners, intermediate, and advanced. This ensures that every player receives tailored coaching that matches their capabilities, fostering an atmosphere of positive learning and progress.

Our Girls' Academy is open to girls of all ages, ranging from 3 to 15 years old. We've segmented our groups based on school years, catering to girls from Foundation to Year 10. By harnessing the inspiration of the Lionesses, we're not just teaching football skills; we're shaping well-rounded individuals who learn and grow through play and teamwork.
